Canada Geese Take Over HWF Mission Bald Eagle - Hancock ...

Surprise!! Surprise!!? We had given up hopes of seeing "Jack and Jill", the resident pair of Bald Eagles who made their nest home for the last two seasons in Mission, BC.? We have learned that last summer they built a new nest across the highway.? So many were sad that there would be nothing to watch on our HWF?Mission cam.? Wrong!!

Recently a pair of Canada Geese were seen in the Mission nest.? It's not the first time that geese have taken over a bald eagle nest so it was not that unusual.? However today the pair returned on camera and we can now see at least two goose eggs in the eagle nest.? You can find the Mission cam on our Live Cameras page.?
